When can I download SEE?

The Windows production installer is still being packaged and verified. Mac is coming later. Reserve SEE and we will email you when the Windows package and secure checkout are ready.

What does SEE cost?

SEE is planned at $75 per month or $750 per year. The yearly plan includes two months free. A reservation saves your preferred plan but does not charge you.

Does reserving SEE charge my card?

No. The current reservation form only collects your email, preferred plan, and communication consent. Checkout opens after the production package is ready.

Are features split between plans?

No. Monthly and yearly subscriptions include the same complete SEE system. The difference is the billing interval and yearly savings.

What does Safe Copy protect?

Safe Copy protects everything inside the Source Folder you selected—not only camera cards. SEE copies that source content and checksum-verifies the protected copy before heavier archive processing begins. After successful verification, SEE reports Safe Copy Verified / safe to eject; archive and indexing work can then continue from the verified copy.

Does SEE require DaVinci Resolve?

SEE is Resolve-aware, but not every workflow requires Resolve. Index Only — Scan in Place can catalog existing processed Archive media without copying, transcoding, or requiring Resolve. Workflows that read, build, or change Resolve projects and timelines require a compatible DaVinci Resolve installation. Exact launch compatibility versions will be published with the production installer.

Does SEE upload my footage?

SEE is local-first, and full video files are not uploaded for AI enrichment. If you choose AI Enrichment, SEE can send compact clip frames and metadata to your selected AI provider to create descriptions or searchable moments. Your source media remains on your storage.

Do I need my own AI API keys?

Not for technical cataloging. Without an AI key, SEE can still index technical facts such as camera, frame rate, resolution, timecode, duration, and file path. Optional semantic descriptions and Deep Analysis moments use your own supported provider key. SEE identifies paid actions, shows provider costs, and supports spend controls.

Why do Clip Bundles and All Files look different?

Clip Bundles combines a source clip, its archive render, and SEE-generated companion files into one card. All Files shows every individual file. A processed audio companion shown as Support / Sidecar in All Files is normally part of the same clip bundle—not a duplicate or a separate library asset.

Does Auto Engine publish or render automatically?

No. Auto Engine prepares draft proposals for human review. Approving a proposal creates a Creative Build queue card; it does not build, render, publish, or delete anything. You still review the card and deliberately run the Creative Build workflow.

How will installation and updates work?

The Windows launch package includes the verified FFmpeg and FFprobe helpers needed for ordinary use, so a separate install or PATH setup is not required. SEE’s built-in updater can check for eligible releases after installation. The Mac build is coming later and is not ready or verified yet.

How many computers can I activate?

One subscription allows up to two activated computers total. Windows and macOS share the same activation pool: two Windows PCs, two Macs, or one Windows PC and one Mac. Windows stores the license key in Windows Credential Manager; macOS stores it in Keychain. Each activated computer creates one Lemon Squeezy license instance.

What should I include in a technical ticket?

Include the SEE version, operating system, DaVinci Resolve version, what you expected, what happened, and the smallest repeatable sequence. Do not paste passwords, API keys, license keys, or client-confidential media.

Where can I check known bugs?

Visit Known Issues for confirmed public issues, affected versions, status, and available workarounds. If your problem is not listed, submit a Bug Report below.

What happens after I send a ticket?

Your request receives a ticket ID and is delivered directly to SEE Support through Google Workspace. A human reply will go to the email address you submit.

Where can I review refunds and subscription terms?

Review the SEE Terms of Service. Billing questions can also be routed directly to the team with the Support Assistant below.
